Fit Will Vary and Colors Do Not Coordinate Well
The overall quality of the blazer, trousers, and tie is excellent.  The beret quality is acceptable but not up to the standards of the rest of the uniform.

Sizing is as expected.  However, if you have a slim profile and/or your torso shape is more triangular (i.e., broad shoulders, narrow waist) than boxy, the jacket will need significant tailoring to provide a proper fit.  Although this outcome is not surprising, the Order should have more sizing options for such an expensive uniform.  One shape does not fit all and will significantly degrade rather than enhance the overall appearance of the Color Corps to the public.  (Also, odd size measurements also need to be added to ordering options.)

The colors of the uniform---black beret, dark gray trousers, navy blue blazer, dark blue (clashing with blazer) and gold (clashing with gold emblem) tie---do not coordinate well.  This appearance is unfortunate because some better choices would have really helped to increase the enthusiasm for this change and would have made the uniform more attractive overall.

It is also unfortunate that the placement of the emblem onto the beret must be done individually without a foolproof guide.  This choice is likely to result in significant variation among Color Corps members and is also likely to degrade the overall appearance of the Color Corps.  The Order should find a way to standardize the placement of the emblem on the beret, i.e., there should be only one place to put it on the beret, or else find a way to affix it permanently and still be able to add a background color patch.

Fit / Beret size / Beret Emblem
The blazer and trousers fit exactly as off the rack suit coat / trousers at my local Kohl's department store, so I was pleased with that.

The beret sizes close to my 7 1/4 size when I ordered were 7 - 7 1/4 and 7 3/8 - 7 1/2, etc.  I ordered the 7 - 7 1/4, which was a mistake.  It goes on, but is TIGHT.  I see now, the size choices are different.  Hopefully the 7 1/4 - 7 3/8 will fit.  The band does have a draw string that can tighten slightly.

I was pleased that a return label was included for returning items for exchange.

The Beret comes with an emblem, and NO instructions for placement, as noted in an earlier comment.

Flash Keepers
First, I’m quite pleased with the quality of the jacket and trousers. The sizing was “off the rack” correct. As a folicularly challenged man, it will be nice to have a head covering that is easy to wear even though the beret is not my style. Attachment of the flash can be improved by including plastic keepers instead of the standard brass. Most recommendations for flash attachment are to bend the prongs against the stiffener to reduce embedment in the forehead. This would work as long as the office color background is not changed too often.
